Vintage Shaving Cream Jar

I just won this

My plan is to fill it up with a 500ml tube of proraso I have.

Will the cream keep well like this? I wanted something that looks cool on the counter and didnt want to drag out the giant tube every time I want to shave with proraso.

That is a cool looking jar! That'll look good on the sink. I would imagine that if it's an airtight seal then your cream should store nicely.

The worst case is it'll dry out and you'll need to reconstitute it with a little extra water. Luc intentionally dried some Palmolive and managed to get it back.

Great find, btw! I've only ever come across rusty old Burma-Shave jars.
