I found an interesting bottle of vintage old spice hand lotion at an antique store and purchased it. I am sure I paid too much for it, but it was unique and I never seen one like it before. Can you help identify it, and maybe the year?
I believe the cap to be correct as this was the only other one I could find on the internet. Vintage milk glass Old Spice hand lotion bottle - https://poshmark.com/listing/Vintage-milk-glass-Old-Spice-hand-lotion-bottle-613cff76446e596a6af1bb6bI am no expert but I believe 'Early American Old Spice' launched in 1937 as a ladies range and soon after became 'Old Spice' as we know it featuring the ships etc. targeted at men. I do not know when Early American ceased production but I suggest your example, particularly the top, looks several years later. I have a Yardley hand lotion from the 1930s and that was rancid so if yours is not then perhaps it is later. I am guessing, anyway nice find - I would try it as a post shave.
