vintage merkur date/model name

Hi guys

Just have a little question about another flea market find.
Yesterday (thanks to the wife's attentive eye) I picked up a few additions to the collection on a local flea market.
One is a near mint condition fat boy that I took for a run yesterday( surprised by how mild this thing is)
And the other is a vintage merkur model that caught my attention and i'd like to date/identify. I'll try to post some pictures but due to no internet at home this is a challenge...
it caught my eye because of the large hermes image on the bottom of the barrel. Most distinctive features are that the head is nearly flat and actually has the name Merkur and Solingen Germany embossed on it(in English) so í have a suspicion this was made for export. it has a standard safety comb.
can any one at least provide me with an indication of the period of this razor or if possible a model name to help me along

oh btw I noticed that the pictures don't really show it but the razor has a two sided safety bar. On one side it is slightly ridged and on the other it's smooth.
any one have any ideas on model and production era

the barrel seems to be similar to a few of these models. The head seems to be another matter. Funny to see how most of these razors seem to be priced at about 2 DEM or about 1 euro a piece. prices have gone up the last few years
