Vintage Burma-Shave

I seem to be on a vintage bent this week. This morning I pulled down for use a Berma-Shave mug with the original Berma-Shave soap.

It is a hard milled soap that seems to last forever. Lather quality approaches Colgate. Very enjoyable shave.

I didn't use the Berma-Shave brush (reknotted with a nice Silvertip). because it was a somewhat tall and narrow mug. I used a Frank Shaving 24 mm Finest brush with a somewhat longer handle.

I see no purpose in not using vintage soap.

I have the same Mug and Hard Soap Puck. I think they are from a set out in the early 90's. I find the soap pretty non-descript.
It lathers and shaves OK but I have tons of other soaps I'd reach for first.

Yes, 90s. 97-ish after ASR bought the name. I really like the mug, the logo was done very well, raised and textured, feels baked on and not glued or painted.
