Vie-Long Black & Copper Horsehair Brush

Have any of you owned or seen this brush? It’s a beauty of a brush. Model # is B0340921. Who knew a Duracell battery would make a great-looking brush handle? It’s a discontinued model, unfortunately, so whenever I get around to buying a horsehair brush (I have a boar, a badger, and a synthetic, might as well round out the collection with a horse), it won’t be this one.

I don't have a horse either. I'd probably pick up a Zenith if I did. But the Vie Long have some very cool looking wooden barber style handles. But I've read that you have to comb them!

Only if you use them incorrectly. You need a special technique, you can not use it like boar or badger.

Could you explain a little about the special technique? I have a new Vie-Long very similar to the OP’s that I haven’t used yet.

Only use the tips, and do not apply pressure on the brush
