Very confused about this old Gillette. Help me out B&B!

I recently acquired this Gillette, which just looks like a simple Super Speed.



But, the case is throwing me off. It's quite possible that it's not the original case for the Super Speed, it's also quite possible that this isn'ta Super Speed, but a Gillette that bears a resemblance to the Super Speed.

I know you guys know. Help me out guys.

That's a case for a Gillette NEW, that particular NEW was called a Red And Black.

Late 40s SS in the wrong case. Looks like a case for an old Reissue NEW Gillette(RED and BLACK).

Definitely a Red and Black Case. And looks like a 40's SS

Forgot to comment on the razor itself.
Looks to be a straight tip Superspeed from anywhere in the last half of the 40's to to 1954 (except for the 51 black tips) when the flair tips came out about mid 54.
Does it have a letter and number stamped on the underside of the head? a date code would place it 51-54.
Is the center bar notched or unnotched? notched would mean 48 through 51,unnotched would be 47 or before.
Inside the razor does it say "Package" or "PKG"? PKG is late 50, Package would be 48 to early 50.
Again inside the razor is the hole in the center just a hole? can you see the top of the handle flush with the hole? or is there a small ridge where you see the handle? raw hole 48/49, flush handle early 50.small ridge late 50.

Don't forget the difference in the endcaps!
