Vero sixpack?

Does any of the fellow European shavers have experience with the bulk pack of Vero brushes? The Vero 5106 in 6-pack can be had quite cheaply. (18 euro for 6 brushes, including shipping)

But it is wasted money if they are inferior to the regular single Vero brushes one can find in the local shops.

So ... worth buying? or better passed?

Thanks! (Sorbo also sells them online, but not directly to consumers)

Any brush that is sold in a six pack for about 24 USD (4 USD each) I would just leave alone.

Go get one good Omega or Semogue at around 14 - 20 USD and have a solid boar brush.

Probably true. However, my experience with single packs of Vero brushes is very good ... however, they might be higher quality than the bulk brushes in this offer.

If these are the same as te Vero sold at the barber shop here, you have one of the finest boars in the business at an incredible price.

My Vero experience matches ours; they are tremendous brushes.

So, only one way to find out I am afraid :)

I am not sure. Vero produces the brush with the same handle in different sizes. The 5104 has a 55mm loft, while the 5106 has a 65mm loft. I don't know which one Dille & Kamille sells.

65mm is probably too long for my taste, so I'm not going to order them. But if the loft is the same quality as my current Vero, then it would be quite good. The knot of mine has a good density, and it has broken in very well.

Mind you; that is my only Vero brush. I usually have Omega boars. However, my dad always uses Vero brushes, and he is very happy with them.

It seems to be the 64mm model. That is really huge. I think these are the 55mm ones but no pics available... Shipping will be more expensive than the goods though.

This is the one I have (right after a shave :wink2: ). I bought it a bit more than 2 years ago, but it looks like these are not being sold anymore:
