VDH Badger Brush

I have recently aquired one of these brushes, and I have to say it is my absolute favorite. I have a Tweezerman, Body Shop Synthetic, VDH Boar and VDH Badger. The badger is quite large compared to the Tweezerman, and since mantic didn't have any pictures of it, I thought I would post one that he could use.

I used this brush for the very first time this morning, with col conk bay rum. It was an excellent brush, built great lather and was very soft. I cannot wait for it to be broken in completely. It had a little bit of funk, but I think that will clear up with time. I've never really reviewed a brush before, but this gets a rank of 3x better than my tweezerman, which was before, my favorite brush.

Did you find it locally or did you buy it direct from VDH? Also did you get the kit or just the brush? I heard they come with a different bowl if you get the kit.

I just got the brush, it was actually a waranty for a shedding boar. VDH has my gratitude for the best brush I've ever used. I will be calling to get another for my work shave kit.

I would just give them a call. Probably around 30 dollars, it would be worth twice that in my opinion.

This brush is only presently available by calling VDH's offices directly via phone, and requesting it. I am not sure of the current price, but considering the past cost (which was something like $22 + shipping) the cost of the brush should be less than $30 shipped.
