using citric acid/ lemi shine?

any one using lemi shine/citric acid to clean tarnished/rusty metal? i don't see any comments on using it. i have used to to clean brass, and other metal pieces non razor related with great success.

I mostly use flitz, Maas, and mother’s Mag for most of my projects. Flitz is great for plastics and will bring a set of ugly black plastic scales back to life. Mother’s Mag is my work horse while Maas is my finish polisher. YMMV, but if your citric polish thingy works well, awesome! It sounds pretty gentle, which is good if you want to keep most of the patina on a razor.
