Upgrading from OneBlade Hybrid to Genesis

Hello and thanks for reading.

I switch between my Merkur HD 34 and my OneBlade Hybrid. Of course, two very different experiences (DE vs Feather-non-substitutable)

But I've got a $99 OneBlade gift card, plus I think a $95 upgrade if you upgrade from a Hybrid, so it's now (almost) affordable.

Is there any difference (beyond the obvious better looks of the Genesis)?

Never had the core but love my genesis. It gets a bad rep due to the proprietary (expensive), and quick dulling blades but it’s super convenient and provides a fantastic shave.
