Unidentified open comb

Recently picked up this open comb online advertised as a Gillette, no markings whatsoever. Some of the chrome on the head is coming off, and it appears to be pot metal or zinc. The handle is quite hefty. Any idea what it is? Really excited to try it out, I cleaned off the soap scum and prepped as usual and gave it a whirl. Seems very smooth and pretty darn effective on the wtg, xtg, xtg. Definitely a keeper in the rotation!

It's a Permedge. It's supposed to be a 2 piece, but that flange connecting the bottom part of the head to the handle is worn out.

I passed on one of these in the wild about a year ago bc the person selling it was so damn rude. It is a very cool razor though.
