u guys like razor pics right? picked up a couple things over the weekend

was on my way to out of town going to drill and i picked up these at some shops that i wanted to check out. i they wanted 90 for both. i had to scrounge for change in my car and only came up with 82.50 lol they took it though. they were pricey on everything else though. 90 bucks for a krisskross blade sharpener?????? i lucked out cuz they asked what i was looking for and they pulled out a box from behind the counter that they hadnt priced yet. i pretty much grabbed the 2 best things.

1st is a wade and butcher maybe 7/8-8/8 (dont have a ruler handy) the scales and originial but the blade looks good and i dont think that is the originial case or is it? i know it says wade abd butcher but for the bigger blades i thought the cases were fatter.

the second is a star lather catcher. i almost wasnt able to get this one. i went to the car to get what change i had and while i was gone i guess the lady started trying to go on the internet and find a price for it. she said they were going for $250.................. i thought to myself "great" i know they arent worth that much though. she wasnt looking on ebay tho. she showed me the site but i didnt recognize it. she still let me take it for what she asked for it.

i can only take pics with my phone right now so they r gonna have to do.

Good finds @ a great price. Good thing she did not get to e-bay for the W&B or she may have raised its price. Not mint or restored condition, but it looks to be in very good original condition - which could raise the value.

yea i was trying to get the heck out of there. with the prices they had on other stuff that was worthless, i didnt wanna know what they would say about the stuff that was actually worth something.

Nice score. Does that star razor take SE blades or some permanent attachment blade that needs to be maintained? I think that is the first safety razor design.

i dont see why not but i havent checked.. it came with the original blade that has to be maintaned like a straight as u mentioned.
