Two unusual razors

Here are two completely unmarked razors. Both are very well made, with silver-plated handles and fine knurling. I tend to believe that they are from the same manufacturer, given the identical elegant profiles of the heads (as shown). One is a true mini-razor and I wonder whether anyone has seen the dwarf blades that it would take. The regular-sized one gives a great gentle shave, similar to a Tech. I posted it earlier (http://badgerandblade.com/vb/showthread.php?t=124113&highlight=santa) and I rather suspect that it’s a Hoffritz, based in part on the design of the case, which is identical to Slants that I have seen on B&B. Any guidance on these from the experts?

One nice thing about razors like this is that they hark back to better days, when companies did not plaster their names on each and every product. I live in a very busy urban area and, every day, I see hundreds of tourists arrayed as tacky walking billboards for Nike, North Face, or Abercrombie and Fitch. What is wrong with these people? I’m sure none of them are B&B members…

How do they come apart ? Are the handles hollow ? It looks like they are "knock offs" of Gillettes,(old style and ball end) thus no id or patent date. Maybe it was a set with a smaller "touch up" razor.

hehe, yeah those small razors are most of the time to "touch up" calluses in your feet.

Well I've heard if you leave the lather for a minute of so, you get a nice tender area to work on:lol::lol:
