No Alphabetical Letter I can see, or Quarter of Manufacture Number.

It's a nice example of a 'pre-war' Tech. The triangle drain holes give it away.

They were made from 1938 to 1941 when the war shut down Gillette civilian production. You see the triangular slots in military contract razors until 1945 and then the rectangular hole replaced the triangles.

Then it is the Oldest Vintage in my Vintage Stable of Gillette's before they went to throwaway junk, it's a Mild Razor IMHO that is wonderful. Thanks@Allen Ladd for your expertise information.

Just happy to give you a rough idea. It's a great piece.

I see it as the Karve Overlander of 1940.

Main thing is that it gives you great shaves after 85 years and that you get great feelings from using it.

That's what having a vintage razor is all about IMO.
