Trunk Club

I know a couple of people that use it. It's convenient, you don't have to personally have any style sense, and I don't think it's overpriced if you're one that tends to pay retail for things.

I enjoy being my own stylist and I only buy clothing at deep discounts so it's not for me.

I use it and have bought items from each box I get. The prices are on par with Nordstrom, so if you can't afford to shop there, then don't bother with trunk club. I can give you an example of my last trunk so you can see what things you can get.
I spoke with my stylist (you are assigned one when you sign up) and told her that for fall I wanted to continue my look of classic american. Here is what I got:
Barbour Osprey Sweater
Gant Rugger Check Twill Flannel
Kasil Davidson Bourbon Denim
Alternative Apparel Crew Neck in white - supima cotton
Jack Spade Conway watch in beige
Adriano Goldschmeid Navy Henley long sleeve
and some black puffy vest that I didn't like

All in all it was great and I kept the sweater and gant flannel. The first box is usually a little tough because you don't necessarily know what you are getting. By the second or third you should be good. I sent pics and blog links of what I was looking for style-wise since my local shops don't stock a lot of what I want.

If you want, I can send you a referral (yes it gets me money, but only if you spend money). The cool thing about the whole deal is that you don't pay for shipping at all, and if you don't like what you get you send it back free of charge. If you like something, you keep it, and you get charged to a card on file. Simple and let's me try a ton of brands that no one around here stocks.

I have no style sense, and I hate shopping for clothes. I buy virtually everything I wear from Old Navy. I may give this a try.

Then it's perfect for you but be wary of what avmusic1 said. You're looking at probably $500 for a box with a couple of pairs of pants, a couple of shirts, and a pair of shoes. You don't have to buy the whole box, of course, but that's about what you should expect price-wise.

I signed up, but stopped before I received a box, I didn't want to want to spend the money. I live in a bigger city and can find anything here in town. When I move next year I'll sign back up gain, I'll be earning a lot more, but I'll be living in rural Missouri where I'll appreciate the trunks.

Yeah, I saw they had a "starting from" pricing section, and that's a pretty steep premium given what I'm used to paying. I'm in a major metro area, so I guess I'll suck it up and actually put some effort into trying to find my style and obtain clothes at a discount.

Those straight razors don't pay for themselves.

I think that's a good idea. If you're still in Natick than you shouldn't be much more than a half hour from the Wrentham outlets. That may be a good place to start
