Trumper's Order Holdup?

On August 21st, I placed an order for a 100ml bottle of Spanish Leather, directly from their website. Upon checkout, I got the usual message (You will be notified when your order ships, etc). It has now been 10 days with no confirmation (I checked my spam box as well). I sent them an email on thursday asking if it was held up for some reason, and never got a response.

This seems atypical of their customer service. I have made 4 orders from them in the past, and shipping has always been prompt, and customer service has always been nearly immediate, and incredibly polite. When I ordered a bottle of Eucris, it was DELIVERED within 7 days. When I inquired about samples, I received a response immediately at 7am London time, saying that a sampler pack of their full range of fragrances would be dispatched, free of charge, immediately.

Has anybody else had trouble with spotty customer service from Trumper's?
 
Apart from the fact they don't ship to New Zealand, no.

However, they told me very promptly and politely why this was the case.

Something to do with alcohol content of aftershaves and problems with NZ Customs. Completely confused me especially as they left the door open for soaps, creams etc to be ordered by email! Even worse is the fact they supply the West Island of NZ without any apparent problem :biggrin1:

To add further confusion was the fact that I subsequently ordered the two colognes I wanted from The English Shaving Company without difficulty:huh:

I have a name and an e-mail for a person over there who normally replies immediately, if you want it, pm me. I had also an order, and it took a bit longer than I thought and contacted them and got an answer within hours.
