had a shave with it..I tried to smell my darndest if it had a scent...came to the conclusion it was unscented and just looked pink in color
Trumpers Cream..Rose..has NO scent?

I only have a sample of it but I think it smelled plenty of rose oil. Not sure if the actual lather has that much scent now that I think of it but I have to shave anyways so I'll go whip up a lather and have a shave now and report back 
I had a sample, and considering how heavily coloured it is I expected a scent bomb. I detected a faint artificial rose scent in the tub, but by no means powerful. Other GFT creams smell much more.
If you want powerful rose, go with T&H (I haven't tried D.R. Harris). If you, like me, find T&H too powerful, go with TOBS.

I also got my sample from Trumpers.com.
Just used some of it and lathered up for a two pass shave and I stay by my statement that the scent is there and not hard to notice. The lather does not smell as strong as the actual cream but I still feel a rose scent from it.
The rose to me has never smelled any less than the rest of the range. Quite noticeable to my nose.
I recently purchased a tube of Trumpers Coconut Oil and I too was disappointed with the lack of smell. It was sold as having a scent that could be smelled "down the hallway"...
Hm, yes.. The coconut smell was also a bit faint to me. It's a nice scent but it is not very strong. The strength of the scent was on par with the GFT scent, maybe a little weaker but I don't like the GFT as it smells like lotion to me.
I got the sample from their website and the scent was kind of weak for rose. Oddly all the other scents were strong.
I'm just finishing up my GFT samples and I found them to vary widely in scent strength and texture. I can only conclude that the samples cannot be counted on as being representative of the normal sized product. Some of my samples were so dried out they were more like a soft soap than a cream. I ordered directly from Trumpers.
Trumpers rose is currently in my rotation. I would describe as a medium strength scent but the scent does dissipate quickly. Scent has left the building 30 minutes after shaving. For some quick scent dissipation is a negative for others a positive.
My sample was very strongly scented and irritated my skin.

I like Trumpers Adjacio VViolet cologne BTW, nice mens cologne.
I switched to Trufitt and Hill, and am very happy with their product, expecially the rose scent.
I feel Trufitt uses a bit more Shea Butter because, this is the nicest shave I have had, over the years.

My Trumper's Rose has a distinct natural rose aroma. Not perfumy at all though.
About five years ago I bought a tub of GFT Coconut while on a trip. It was off colour and lacking in scent. Followed up with the vendor and it was a batch issue following reformulation. Stuff can happen. I have a fresh tub of Rose and the scent is very evident. Rose is one cream I try not to run out of. Maybe GFT can offer you an explanation and/or supply you better samples? They would probably like to hear of these varied experiences with their product. Hope you enjoyed their other samples.
