Trumpers Coral Skinfood?

When I think of the word Coral, I think of those colorful reefs in the ocean. But from what I am reading, people have been using it as a rose AS? Needless to say I'm confused. Whats the meaning behind its "coral"? And does anybody know where I can get a small free sample to see what all the hype's about?

Free? Sorry- haven't heard of any place doing that yet, but Trumpers does do a VERY reasonably priced sampler pack if you contact them directly. I can't help on the 'coral' part, but can confirm it is a 'rose-ish' scent.

Yeah, you can order the sampler pack from Trumpers. I would agree that it's rose-ish but I wouldn't say it's a full blown rose scent.

FWIW, and I'm not the only one that shares this opinion, but skin food does not make a good aftershave in my experience. If you have a great shave with no irritation, it might be alright, but if you need something to soothe your skin a little bit it will do nothing for the irritation.

yup.

Just make sure you request that you want to try the Coral Skinfood specifically

It's a great deal, and after I bought mine, I emailed them and asked if I could try the Wild Fern and Eucris as a cologne (in my sampler they came as shower gel). Trumpers sent me those samples for free. Very good customre service.

I could be wrong, but I'd bet that "Coral" refers to the color (or, if you're at GFT, "colour") of the product, a pastel orange-pink. My aunt had a necklace of polished "coral", and it was just about that color.

I have to second this, but with qualifications. I would never use it by itself, although some people use it as a pre-shave. I do feel it shines best as a finishing product after I apply a normal A/S splash. A little extra protection for recovery and a nice smooth feeling and look. That said, I make my own version at home. It's not much more than gum-thickened rosewater, and miles cheaper.
