I have a bottle of GFT (50ml atomizer) which is at least five years old. It seems perfectly fine. Can a fragrance last that long without deteriorating? Should I replace it?

If it seems fine, it's fine. Enjoy it. Fragrances last for a long time.
I'm getting a bottle of it for my birthday in a fortnight - I'm keen to see if it will displace C&E WIL as my go-to citrus.

I've bought scents several decades old that were not only still good, but well-aged, also. Most frags, if properly stored, can last many, many years.
That said, GFT by...uhh...GFT is a very well done scent. I'd wear it any day of the week.
