This Truefitt & Hill Style 1 Medium Silvertip with a Horn colored handle came yesterday. Along with a tub of 1805.

I haven't measured it with a set of calipers, per T&H the specs are:

Silvertip Badger

Overall brush height: 97mm

Handle height: 48mm

Brush Loft: 49mm

Knot diameter: 24mm

The tips on this are nice and soft and it releases the lather nicely. But does not have as much backbone as the 2 band M&F hair, but it's still a great brush. It definitley blooms more than the 2-bands.

Thanks...performance wise compared to the M&F 2-bands...I would say that it releases the lather nicely like the M&F 2-bands meaning it is not a lather hog like some really dense brushes. The tips are soft and it has nice backbone...so it's not a floppy brush...not as scrubby as the M&F 2-bands. For the money I think this is a great brush.

Just ordered the exact same brush on Friday. Thanks for the great pictures, Tony. Now I REALLY can't wait for delivery. This is going to be a whole different experience than using my cheap pure badger Escali brush.
