I am a dedicated T&H user and always have been pleased with the performance, I like 1805 but I'm quite fond of most all their scents.

Do you find they genuinely last all day?
Which of your observations is the most masculine scent? I am not a particular fan of fruity or citrus scents, honestly.
The only fruity citrus scent is of course the lime, 1805 has a more floral woodsy scent, sorry but I'm not good at describing scents, the sandalwood is quite nice and very safe to start with. Trafalgar to me is quite nice but I don't see a lot of fans on the forum
I use the cream, balm, and AS and it seems to last a long time. I am retired and shave about 3 in the afternoon ( right before cocktail hour 
) and when I get up around 6 am I still can detect a slight scent.

I have the Trafalgar cream, balm and cologne on order as well as Spanish Leather.
Looking forward to trying them out next weekend.

Just finished a partial bottle of Spanish Leather that I picked up off BST some time ago. Very nice! And could use it both as aftershave and as edt. Matches Pre de Provence #66 shaving soap nicely. (I think it is #66! Just packed my tin away for a move. Maybe #63?)
I only have one AS splash, and the formula is excellent - wonderful, soothing face feel. The scent is ‘Trafalgar,’ which I like very much on cool/cold days, but becomes a bit cloying in warm weather. Yes, the scent lasts a long time compared to any of my other AS.
Ok. Final update with package opening and contact info for the very responsive lady at T&H.

I am very pleased with it too. Turns out I could have saved if I ordered one of the gift packs as I ordered a cream, cologne and AS separately but at least I know for the future as I buy more in their range.

London's in Charlottesville used to have samples of all T&H products (If you get down that way). Also samples of Penhaligon. Samples as in full bottles you can use in-store not take.
Give them a call to be sure. I've not been there in a few years.

Glad to hear things worked out for you. I've been a long-time user of T&H products (fragrance, shave creams and soaps, balms and their pomade). I like to rotate the scents with my GFT ones, but 1805 and the T&H Spanish Leather are always winners for me.

yes, they offer samples, not cheap, but overall quite reasonable. a great way to test their lineup.
From a sample set I received years ago, my favorites are Grafton, Trafalgar and Spanish Leather.
Freshman is similar to Cool Water, and was a little brash for my liking.
1805 and Clubman were pleasant, but didn't have a lot of personality.
I could see how 1805 would be a fantastic soap/cream scent.

I've used several of their scents for years now, I think I like Trafalgar best for some reason... 1805 is nice, Freshman is perhaps tad too 'aggressive' in its way, and Spanish Leather a bit too sweet. Have to be very careful when using the latter two.
My one truly expensive shaving product is a bottle of T&F Trafalgar after shave splash. I wear it occasionally in winter - should probably wear it more.
I was sad to discover that T&F have discontinued making any AS splashes, and have replaced them with balms. Their splash formula was one of my favorites . . .
