Truefitt and Hill Shampoo and Soap

Hi everyone,

I was wondering if anyone has had any experience with the Truefitt and Hill shampoos or shower gels. They have some in the Trafalgar fragrence, which I love. I'm just wondering if it is worth the premium prices.

I have used their Vitamin E shampoo for many years. Even when it was a totally different product and bottled differently. Never used anything else.

Only you can provide the answer as the value is so subjective. The shampoo scents T&H used to make were very well done and complemented their bath soaps and colognes. Sadly the soaps aren't what they used to be and the shampoos such as Trafalgar aren't readily available. If you can find old stock seek a discount and, in my opinion, it will be worth it. I got lucky a few years ago and got a large supply of scented shampoo for a fraction of retail. The shampoos store well and last seemingly forever. I am not a fan of T&H and most other shower gels.

I routinely use T&H bath soaps and could not be happier. They lather beautifully and easily with a beautiful aroma while in the shower (do not expect the scent to last on the skin). The skin is left soft, residue free and moisturized. They are certainly not cheap however they do last a good amount IF you use a loofah; on average >8 weeks of daily use. Since it builds such easy lather there is a good chance you will overload the loofah but oh well. Concerning the shampoos they are also quite nice but I found that I required enough product and thus were used up relatively quickly and thus were somewhat expensive yet they did provide a very nice clean soft hair. At the end of the day I do suggest you at least try them it will probably not break the bank and almost routine use of either will be nice. I have found that most commercially available shampoos are actually decent but I have grown to love some of the more luxury products but be prepared to spend some hefty cash.
