I know this has been beaten to death, but is the beautiful 26mm onyx silvertip brush on the T&F website a Rooney? I heard they were changing manufacturers. In addition, I e-mailed T&F and the response was "we use a variety of hardware suppliers who make our branded products to spec. The quality and workmanship for our brushes, Silvertip or otherwise, is among the best in the industry." Not too conclusive, eh? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

I'm sure that if you were to post a picture of the brush (or at least a link to it) someone will be able to help you out pretty quickly.

The small onyx has the looks and specs of a Rooney 3/1 and the large onyx a Rooney 3/3. It looks to me like the T&H "silvertip" brushes are still Rooney, but I can't swear to it. If I didn't already have a Rooney 3/1, I probably would have bought the small onyx.
