Does anyone know where to get a trigger snap that will take a 2" wide strap? I have done many google searches, but can't seem to find a supplier.

I checked there, but the only option was to order from hongkong. No auctions for the 3" version state side. I guess I will order and just wait a few weeks.
Why not use a simple "D" ring and a standard trigger snap like this one?

Amazon has 2.75" trigger snaps
