Color me jealous. Haven't tried those per se, but I hear they are better than the Wilkinson Swords currently manufactured, and I like the current ones.

Still experimenting, but so far the top choices for me are the Wilkinsons (current production), Dorco 301's (white labels), and Derby's. Currently trying Astra, and have yet to try Feathers (or any other Japanese blade.)

The Wilks were very smooth for me. Least irritation so far. Although I like how cheap I can get Dorco 301's and Derby's. ($10/100). The Dorco's are also nice to include with razor sales, as a 10/pack is only a $1, and makes a good start for a new user.

yeah ive got a pack of dorcos i got from asda that ive been meaning to try out but at the moment im enjoying trying out the old blades i keep finding too much.

I have a 5-pack with exact same black card for the plastic container top. The individual wrapper is a bit different, however.

When I discovered and joined the trend back to DE shaving the spring of last year, I found a travel kit that I received new as a gift containing a 1967 Travel Tech razor and the Wilkinson 5-pack. There were four left in it, and I used two of them while waiting for a sampler.

I used another one earlier this summer, with a year's technique practice, and it was the best blade I've ever used. The smoothest, and it cut effortlessly in a Super Adjustable set at 3 and 4.

As best as I can remember, I purchased that 5-pack new sometime in the early '70's.

I have some and have used them, they are nice shavers. Most (if not all) of the Wilks made in the late 70's through 90's are very good to excellent, tho the quality on the UK made blades did taper off a tad toward the end. Given the aging of the wrapper, I'd guess they were produced in the 70's.

Any of the UK made Wilks will be better than the current production German blades.
