Muhle/EdwinJagger badger brushes

Hello all

In light of all the brush companies going out of business I’m thinking about trying Muhle
and Edwin Jagger badger. Does anyone have any thought or experience with them?

I have a EJ classic best badger in a 21mm knot. It’s very similar to my Simpson X2 but, not as densely packed. It’s a fabulous brush and if it weren’t for my Simpson brushes, it might have been my only badger. I also have. Mühle Silvertip badger that I haven’t used yet, so someone else will have to chime in about Mühle but, it seems like a very well made brush.

I have both Edwin Jagger and Muhle STF in a 25mm knot. These are synthetic brushes. Of all my brushes they are my favorite.

Is it swell time?
I have the Rocca Silvertip badger. Wonderful brush. Slightly hogging like a bear, but I think that's actually because I am still in the breaking in period. Mühle brushes do tend to be on the smaller side though. The Rocca is 22-23mm. My STF is 25mm which is still relatively small in comparison. Plenty sufficient for lathering I suppose. Just something to be aware of.
