Transfer cologne from vials to atomizers

I just bought some sample vials ( 2 ml each) of cologne and want to know if it's ok to transfer them to atomizers by just pouring them straight from vials. Also, I have some used atomizers that are empty-what is best way to clean them so I can use different scents?

I do exactly this with my samples. I use a funnel and pour them straight into a 2.5 oz. atomizer.

Soak the atomizers in dishwashing soap overnight. They should be good to go with no residual scent.

I'd rinse with some rubbing alcohol or maybe even witch hazel, then soak overnight as Austin suggests. If they're glass, the should not have absorbed any of the previous scent.

I would also advise flushing out the atomizer a bit with water and or alcohol.

I tried this but the scent (Creed Aventus) was still in these (plastic) atomizers.

I think this is one of the reason most of us prefer glass. I pretty much avoid plastic at all cost. It just doesn't "feel right" for fragrances to be in plastic.
