What's new

Todays unexpected score!!

Found this today at a regular store on consignment and couldn't resist. Looks like it has never been used to me...don't know, but it is sure in great condition...so is the box.

Man I didn't really have to clean anything up on this baby...looks brand new! I have already finished honing it and it's ready for tonights shave! Almost too easy..will let you guys know about the shave later.

oh, you did score :)
Case are quite nice razors, and they're one of the brands collectors really like. So if you don't want to keep shaving with it, I'm sure you won't have problems finding somebody willing to preserve it for future generations.

I would'v tried the edge as it were, if it looked close enough to shave.

Already had my first shave with it and it was excellent! I honestly feel that this a NOS my only resevation about that is not the condition of razor or box (which are beyond reproach IMO) but that it did not include any wax paper to wrap the razor in? I'm very happy I went over my allotted razor budget to score this beauty.

That my friend is a HOME RUN! Highly collectible not only for it's condition but the XX case razors are very prized. You often see them on the bay listed in the knifes and swords category fetching beaucoup bucks!

Bumping this thread in hopes that someone might know the name of this model. It still remains in the top of my rotation. Any help is appreciated.

I realize that getting info on str8s can be very difficult, I was hoping that since it is a Case that there would be more info? I believe on their knives they have markings to date a given knife. I just thought it would be easier to find a model name for this one?

Maybe you can post a pic of the shank?
