What's new

What Men's fragrances Inexpensive and Clones did you use today or enjoy most.

So I found myself stocked up on more soaps than I will ever use.
Soaps that I really like that I never really get in a rotation.
Boxes a razors to sort through.
I've been trying to check out some inexpensive as well as clone fragrances.
Through our shaving soaps we get somewhat familiar with sent notes.
Just wondering what people are enjoying in this category of fragrances for men?

Here's one I just got and have used two or three times.
I can get along with the scent plenty well I felt like it should last longer than the 1 or 2 hours it seems to.
Even if I load up six or eight missed it seems like 2 hours is gone except for on the skin. I'm a bit green (new) on this subject though.

As above, Drakkar Noir and Zino are both excellent. And similar to what they were 20-30 years ago.

I also love Calvin Klein Escape as a great inexpensive fragrance. Again, similar to what it was like back in the day.

Missoni Wave and Azzaro Chrome are also inexpensive and excellent. Same with Cool Water Intense and Issey Miyake L’Eau D’Issey Pour Homme.

A good clone if you like leather (Tom Ford Ombre/Tuscan specifically) is Afnan Rare Carbon ($20-30/100ml). Even better but more expensive ($50-ish) is Rasasi La Yuqawam.

A really good lighter clone is Armaf Club De Nuit Sillage. Cheap and VERY much like Creed Silver Mountain water. I own the Creed and still like using the Armaf from time to time and it is about 1/20th the cost.

There are lots of great cheapie and clone options out there.

My son gave this one used to me. It's smelling a little citrusy and brighter but doesn't seem like it lasts long or projects very far out.

If you are a man and you like it then absolutely any scent is 'manly enough'. The earliest Williams male grooming products were scented with violet, carnation, English lilac, and Rose, and many including myself wear those scents today. The notion of masculine and feminine scents is nonsense in my opinion.
