TOBS Jermyn Street

Another sample from the fine folks at Colonial Drug. I swear I'm not affiliated with them, just a recent satisfied customer.

I was pleasantly surprised by this one. Expecting the usual "sensitive skin" lavender scent I was pleasantly surprised that Jermyn went an entirely different direction. I really cannot even begin to desribe the scent except that it was comforting and faintly citrus like. Performance wise I found it exceptional in every way with nice slick cushiony lather.

I don't see TOBS Jermyn getting much love around here. Anybody else enjoy this one?

Ironically, the "sensitive skin" formula of Jermyn Street irritated my sensitive skin. But it performed wonderfully like all TOBS creams and the scent is one of the best in shavedom, IMO. When TOBS came out with it they joked that it was the scent that would drag them into the 21st century. Modern or traditional, it's a great aroma.

This was the first cream bought.
I love the scent and it feels wonderful as I glide my razor across my face.

TOBS Jermyn has been one of my favorites for a while. I also have sensitive skin and find I have no irritation when using this fine cream. Enjoy!

Jermyn Street is my favorite TOBS cream. I love the scent and the lather that I get when using it. The after shave balm is wonderful and the Jermyn Street bath soap smells fantastic. I read a while ago that TOBS is working on a Jermyn Street cologne, can't wait to try it when it comes out.

Can't wait for the cologne, that really does sound great.

Can anyone else describe the scent of Jermyn? It's familiar to me but I can't put it into words.

i don't need another cream on my desk, but i've been eyeing this stuff for a month now. i intend to buy it when i eventually kill a puck of soap or a cream, but i get a feeling that will take too long...

To anyone that has tried, is the citrus Arlington-like, or much subtler?

I'll let you know the answer to this soon. I used Jermyn on Wednesday and will use Arlington tomorrow.

It's subtler. The citrus in Jermyn Street is a component to the whole "modern rich Oriental" scent profile. Since Arlington is a simple composition of citrus and powdery fern, it stands out more.
