Thistle cut

Just won my first straight razor on E Bay. It's a "thistle cut". Cost me $13.00 Good deal? Cannot find any info on this. Looks OK but I'll know more when it arrives.

Suggestions for Honemeister?

Yes. My first straight. I was back and forth between new Dovo or vintage. Any idea of cost involved to clean up and hone? My wind up costing more than a new Dovo but I had to pull the trigger. I'm hooked!!

That one should be a snap to clean up. In fact you could probably just get away with sending to a honemeister for honing and go to town.

I was watching that one too. Looks like a nice blade, I'd just get it honed and use it.
