The Vega of SE Blades

I will post photos tomorrow, but wanted to mention that I received some Gem Blue Star Blades. I thought you guys were exaggerating about how they rusted.

These blades remind me of the Vega, a car of which it was said that it would begin to rust in dealer showrooms.

I shaved with it once. Then stored the blade and razor in the bathroom for a few days.

Only Pirates shave with rusty blades (if they shave at all).

Yes I bought some of those "new old stock" from only about 5 years old and they already came pre-rusted right out of the box! I'm glad I opened one of the boxes so I knew they were no good and didn't re-sell them. Even in that condition I still used them once and then tossed them. I believe they are the lowest quality of current SE blades.

Here are the photos as promised.

The first is of the "top" side of the blade as it sat in the GEM.

The second, with more rust, is the bottom part side of the blade.

This was after one shave and sitting in a closed cabinet in the bathroom for 4-5 days.

Holy Cr*p! Is the rust extending PAST the edge of the blade in the second pic?
It looks like the rust is growing like mold.
