The truth about today´s Pitralon!

http://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pitralon

Here you can see, the original Pitralon was developed in Dresden/Germany at the beginning of 20th century. Production was stopped in 1990, because of the end of GDR.

Today there is a german Pitralon, totally different. And a swizz, which seems to be relatively near to the original. And a austrian version is there, too. In Czech Republic today there is a Pitralon, too. It seems to be produced in many countrys, for example Hungary:

DON'T touch the Czech Pitralon! It stinks so ugly... I think it has nothing in common with the original one. It's a real junk. Stinky junk.

The original Pitralon is very stinky, too! Because of the CAMPHER.

Pitralon was developed as a hygienic-product. It shouldn´t smell good.

For example, Campher can be found in rheumatism-salve. Smells intensive.

Campher is a crytical stuff, because of it´s potenzial of addiction.

I never heard of Czech patralon. I'd really like to try some. Can somebody pick some up with absinthe next time in Prague?

Better off drinking the Pitralon than Czech-made neon green swill.
+1

I bought a bottle of that nasty Czech absinthe about eight or ten years ago. It was horrible. Of course I drank it anyway, but I did so with little pleasure.

The Czech Pitralon is indeed nasty-*** stuff. A local supermarket had it on sale for 10 Czech crowns, which is so laughably cheap I couldn't resist. Well, I slapped on a few drops and it put my nose in a permanent state of recoil, gave my wife an urge to slap me, and made my eight-month old daughter cry. Needless to say it went into the recycling bin, contents and all (I was afraid of what the vile stuff would do to the plumbing) - all of this within ten minutes of my bringing it home.

Ok, I exaggerate, but only slightly. The point is: AVOID AT ALL COSTS!

Try at your own peril. I have. I suspect it is made with the runoff of rancid Cella.

Thank you gentlemen; now I just HAVE to get me some the next time I am in the Czech Republic! I will never get Czech Pitralon out of my head otherwise.

Thank you again.

HAHAHAHHAHAHAHAH

I really really want to try the Czech stuff.

Really.
I still have my unopened sample of Czech Pitralon from against the grain. It is a very small sample vial, enough for 2 uses max the way I use it.

Do you have anything you can sample out for me to try and we can make a trade?
