The Perfect Brush made by Rudy Vey

Hi Gents,

I normally don't go out of my way to talk about recent purchases or things of that nature, however, I recently received a custom Rudy Vey brush and I felt that I had to show off his amazing work.

The handle is obviously a barber style handle and the knot is either a 26 or 28mm Grade A TGN knot. It's standing next to my Chubby 3 which because of Rudy's brush, I'm now selling.

Comments obviously welcome. I would certainly recommend a Rudy brush to anyone. I normally don't buy more than one brush from a manufacture, however, he has earned repeat business from me.

PS: Rudy is very easy to work with. Very quick responses to questions and he's very quick with his custom orders. We had to rush this order as he shipped it the day before he had to have surgery, but that being said, I imagine his level of service would be just as good otherwise.

Beautiful brush! Rudy has always impressed me with his work! I have two of his and will have more eventually. I just received one yesterday with a Muhle Synthetic knot!

A beauty for sure! Rudy's work is fantastic! A great Gentleman with excellent service. You can't ask for much better. I have owned several brushes from him.

If I ONLY had the chubby and the RV brush, there would be no problem. But in terms of having just 1 big knot brush, I prefer the RV because of the handle. I'm a large fella and that's why I had him go with that handle. The chubby handle is too small for me. In terms of performance in the knot, I again prefer the RV as it's a smaller knot and a bulb which I prefer. Being that the Chubby is $320ish and the RV was I believe $110 or so, it's a no brainer. I can't recommend Rudy enough.

Justin, that is a fantastic brush! Superb handle and a nice bloomed knot to boot, congrats! How is the density and face feel of the Rudy brush?

BTW, the Chubby 3 looks like a sweetie. ;-)
