According to Waits, you also have versions without 'W', as well as versions patented in Italy and Germany (but which seem otherwise identical). Since the Italian or German version are not identified by a different name, I classified it under Williams.

just ebay (uk); it was much more reasonable than I had expected - I don't recall exactly, around 30 GBP, I believe.
Well, when I saw the little cap to clamp it together instead of the Williams latch tab I knew it wasn't entirely identical. I'd hate to lose the retainer, I'll bet a few were lost. I'll call it Williams "style".

Hi there, sorry for the late reply ! I am not sure... its facets look similar to a Lereche 61, but my gutts say it was another manufacturer. But so far no proof whatsoever on this or that. I had one of those, the design and materials feel a bit different. But very nice nonetheless !

. Does it take proprietary blades? Do the rollers make the blade fo back and forth like the King razor?Standard DE blades. The rollers spin freely when a blade is loaded, so it doesn't seem like the blade is doing any oscillating. First shave tomorrow.

I don't know if I've posted this one here and I'm not going to go back through 74 pages right now. It's a King Oscillator Razor, fom the 1930s I believe. To be honest I haven't used it but if the blades are okay, I'll try it tonight.
