2 things I can share with you that are absolutely true:

1) Never assume you know more than your parents. You don't. Listen to them now and then. You might be surprised what you pick up.
2.) You'll be very pleased with your shaving gear. Enjoy it, and exercise patience.

Well, no matter how you obtained the gear, I wish I had figured it out when I was still that young and before I managed to put some perm scars on my neck from ingrown hairs and irritation using the multi-bladed carts for so long. lol Enjoy the gear, while it may not be driving lessons, you can point out that the razor will last you very possibly the rest of your lifetime and beyond with general easy care and maintenance. :)

B&B will be good for you. At the very least it should teach you proper use of capital letters at the beginning of sentences

Enjoy your gear. You've got some great stuff coming.
The Limes skin food is awesome. I used it as an aftershave balm for a while.

Report back when you've given your stuff a go. Let us know how it went.

You picked up some good items. Yous should heed the wisdom of Mark Twain, who said, and I paraphrase: "When I was 16, I could not believe how dumb my father was. By the time I turned 21, I was amazed how much my father had learned in 5 years."

+1 Great information and it seems like you are a very intelligent young man since you are already wet-shaving and asking for advice on this forum. Best of luck to you and just let you dad know that you have made one of the best investments you will ever make in your whole life! Congratulations on the great gear and best of luck.

You can't be any worse a driver than half the people on the road. You'll get more enjoyment out of the shaving equipment.

I'm not going to repeat what other B&B'ers have already said so well about listening to parents. Congratulations for purchasing good shaving gear though!

+1. But then the "rebel" phase lasts longer for some than others. At least he spent his 100$ on shaving gear:biggrin1:

As a father myself (although my eldest son is only 15) if my son bought wet shaving gear with his Christmas money, I'd be as pleased as punch!

Enjoy the shaves, some excellent choices made!
