The Gem Clog Pruf

I have Micromatic Clog Pruf coming in this week. Where does it stand, shave wise, compared to the Micromatic open comb and the 1912? How aggressive is it? Can it compare to the wonderful shaves I get with the 1912?

It's been a while since I used one, but as I recall, it was quite a bit more aggressive than the 1912. I believe the angle is a bit different as well. It gave me a nice shave, I just seem to get along with the 1912, or Lather Catcher better. Never tried the open comb.

I think the biggest differences you notice will be in the size and balance (the Micromatic has a much longer handle and less bulky head) and you'll find the whisker noise more subdued.

I have not used a Clog-Pruf; a Micromatic Open
Comb is my daily go-to razor.
