I was looking at that one, it is a very beautiful box isn't it. I've tried a Rolls and it's like a straight razor on a stick. Close and comfortable but one has to be careful.

the box is the main reason i bought it, i do own 4 or 5 rolls and enjoy using all of them, i heard that this was the english version and being that im english ive wanted to try one for quite a while.
Rolls is (was) an English company. I believe that some of them were made at one point in the US, but you won't have a problem finding a Rolls that was made in England.

yeah youre right, i meant that it was an english competitor of the rolls. i think 2 of my rolls are english. excuse my vagueness, very tired

it certainly looks like itll want a good clean, but as soon as ive done that ill shave with it and write here what its like, itll be interesting to see how it compares to the rolls razors.
