I love big brushes and own several. I have also owned several Thaters. I didn't even know this brush existed until I saw it on Fendrihan's site yesterday. It is the Thater 4125/5 3-band and it has a 32mm knot! It's 124mm overall, but they didn't state the size of the loft or any other dimensions. It took me about 30 seconds to decide that I had to have it. In the pic it looks like the biggest bulb ever! If this monster has Thater's legendary soft tips, my Kent BLK12 is out of a job.

It'll prolly be a tad over the 32mm as well.I got a Thater 4292/6 2 band,fan which has a 28mm knot which looks to be closer to a 30mm.

Hi Gerry - I have the identical brush and the knot on mine is also about 30mm. I am a "Fan fan", so I am curious to see how this enormous bulb behaves.
I know the brush you're talking about! It looks luxurious with those silver tips. When I first saw it, I glanced at it.. and took it as a 2band.
I'm wondering if it performs like a 2 band.

Good point. When I looked at the pic and saw that the black band looked wider than normal and extended almost into the handle, I wondered if it might be a 2-band. Hopefully, I'll find out very soon!
Probably could be a 2 Band on any other brush, but the loft height is a stretch to keep it a 2. That thing looks like a monster.
