You mean you don't write a rough draft on paper before typing? I thought everyone here did that, thus the abundance of lively, semi-intelligent conversation.

I also have a theory that writing by hand helps you to read faster. When we read, we recognise the shape of words rather than scan individual letters. But have you noticed that computerised text doesn't have nearly as much shape as the hand-written word? All words look kind of same-y, especially when you are trying to wade through a wall-o-text (like some of my posts!)
