A few weeks ago, Mike was nice enough to make one of his Gillette New Deluxes available to me. He promptly sent it out, and I got around to cleaning it up this week. Today was my first shave with it (and my first open comb shave period). The end result was a very smooth shave, but it was more aggressive than any of my other razors with the safety bar. Unlike my one and only experience with a slant, I am confident that with a little modification to my technique, I'll be getting smooth comfortable shaves with it in no time.

Yeah, Mike is quite a guy, I started talking with him awhile back, and now I have 7 or 8 New Deluxes. Those razors are very nice, bet he will sell you one
