I've been visiting this site for about a year now for research/review, etc. I only joined recently to make a purchase. Before then, I never seemed to need to post because there's such a wealth of information available that my questions always seemed to have already been asked and answered.
In any event, I wanted to say a quick thank you to all of you who provide such helpful insight into straight shaving. It's a true joy to read the passion in which many of you have for this. I've recently purchased a straight razor, and thanks to a host of valuable information here, finally tackled a task I'd been aspiring to do for years. While the results aren't quite as successful as my DE shaves yet, I'm sure it will only improve with time.
Additionally, I must say that I've been involved in many forums over the years for "enthusiasts" of a variety of things. In my opinion, Badger and Blade is the best. Everyone seems to be helpful, welcoming, insightful and willing to answer questions and eager to help grow their passion. I look forward to reading and learning here for years to come.
