I'm suppose to pick this up Friday for $25.00, what is it and is it a good deal.

"This is a very clean antique and is in the original box. The head of the razor is still wrapped in the paper that it came in. You can see from the pictures that it is just an awesome piece. And the paper that the case was wrapped in is still inside the box. I do not know if it is made by,but the razor is a Gillette. The case is made of topgrain cowhide and is tan. The brush is just like new. I have no idea what year it is from. If you have any questions,please ask."

Looks like a Ball End Tech razor

The head may (?) have come on a slim handle tech. I can't recall seeing that flat bottom base plate on a ball handle but I don't know the British Gillette razors all that well.

Im not sure thats a Tech razor......not enough details on the head shot.

The case is affixed to brush, looks like a shoe brush probably lint though.

That looks like the "fake blade" card that should be inside the head to me, not the guard plate itself. It looks like a standard ball-end Tech as far as I can see. I'm reasonably sure these kinds of kits were made by third-party companies who were just using the Gillette razors and blades, rather than by Gillette directly.
