Tech razor question.

I've recently acquired a Gillette Tech w/ a slight variation. The slots in it have a slightly triangular shape to the slots, as opposed to to the more rectanguler shape to the other techs I have. Other than cosmetics, is there any difference in its shaving qualities?

The Techs with triangular holes are 1938-1945. They're have a bit more blade exposure than the later model, so are a bit more aggressive. I prefer the earlier ones myself.

IMHO a slightly better, closer shave with the 'D' slot
