For someone who almost never DE shaves I have a lot of DE's, but I couldn't resist this one. Anyone have any experience with them who can tell me about it?

None whatsoever. He has some funky razor in a president case, and he thinks it's gillette. edit: sorry, not president case, aristocrat case as it's made in England.
