I've had my first bout of Covid this week and am bummed out. I lost my sense of smell last night, during Tabactober .

I guess on the bright side I can use the Veg now!

Tabactober shave number twenty eight this morning. Still using Tallow Tabac soap, I was going to have a go with the Tallow Tabac cream but I am having so much fun using the soap that I will stick with it until the end. Second last shaves on both my Gillette New Improved and a Bolzano blade. Not a bad start to a Saturday morning but I am still not best friends with Open Comb razors.

Tabactober shave number twenty nine this morning. This morning I used my Simpson Trafalgar T3 and produced an excellent Tallow Tabac lather. My Gillette New Improved and Bolzano blade had their seven and final shaves for the week. I had a pretty good shave considering the Bolzano blade was on its seventh shave. I do like Bolzano Blades.

Notes:

Summary - Very relaxing and great shave with the Raised Flat Bottom today. Blade is approaching 20 shaves and still works like a charm. I was on the verge of binning it around shaves 12-15, but using my newly found feather-light touch in using my razors (thanks to @AimlessWanderer) the blade sprung back into better action for me. OCtober is almost coming to a close - and it has been super fun using al my OC razors (whose number has grown significantly since OCtober 2022 I noticed!). So it is about time to start thinking about those safety bar razors for NOCvember!
