Tabac reformulated in the past?

Does anyone know the history of Tabac and if M&W did a reformulation in the last 25 years?
I just got an unused stick refill from my father in law which must be around 20-25 years according to him.
There are no ingredients listed on the box.

The packaging certainly changed in the late 70's (not for the better IMO). There seems to be a certain consensus that the vintage stuff at the very least smelled different--more tobacco, less floral, a little spicier--than it is now. No clue about the ingredients.

I just got a vintage set last week and man, it has been a life-changing experience.

I'm a bit torn between using the stuff or not.
The scent is still there somewhere behind the dusty closet smell and would certainly reappear if I would mill the soap I think.
But the package is really in excellent condition and the stick inside is still wrapped in the aluminum foil.
I gonna sleep on this one before deciding.
There is also a nice old looking piece of paper inside describing the entire product line in three languages.
This could be a nice one to frame.

Well, it didn't take that long to decide.
It is already milled in a bowl. :001_tongu
I lathered in my hand and yes it lathers good but oh the smell!
It is not rancid but the old dusty smell of a closet that didn't got any fresh air for a number of years is here to stay.
I poked some little holes after the milling and laid a thin layer of Tabac AS on top of the puck.
The theory is that the scent hopefully will be distributed in the puck. :001_smile
I will try it in the morning.

I think they have changed the formula, but stayed true to the scent profile. It is very simular. But what is worse, Tabac have gone vegan on their shave soaps.
Please post pictures of the vintage shave stick.
