T.I. Jaguar/Le Grelot set

The Le Grelot is one of the finest razors around. I have the 1/4 grind, and it remains one of my favourite razors. If you have the means to get yourself a nice christmas gift, I doubt you'll be disappointed with this set.

Also, I've bought a few things from Martin at Rasurpur. He's wonderful to deal with.

I don't know what your experience or commitment is but if you're relatively new, then you should get a shave ready razor in the BST. It's a much safer approach financially. If you know what you're doing and you're a dedicated straight razor user, then I can recommend those blades. However, TI isn't known for its quality control so there may be issues with the scales.

Thanks for the replies Gents. I already own a cheap straight with a Solingen blade and this is definately the road I want to go down (just because I think it's cool to be able to say you shave with a straight:001_smile). The plan of attack is to get myself a quality razor for regular use and use my cheap one to develop some honing skills.

I just bought my first straight razor and it's a Le Grelot.

I'm having a great time learning how to wet shave with it.

It also looks very cool.

Have fun.:thumbup1:

Very good advice.
