T&H + TOBS Aftershave Splashes....staying power

How long do the scents Truefitt and Hill and TOBS aftershave splashes last? I'm specifically wondering about Grafton and Eton College. I'm debating getting the aftershaves or the colognes.

I have TOBS Mr Taylor and no. 74 Original and the staying power is good for an AS. Very potent at first, mellows quickly but for me lingers well into the afternoon. Highly recommended--the 74 Original is one of my faves.

I can't attest to T&H, but I do have the TOBS Eton College and Mr Taylors aftershave splashes. If I put them on in the morning (6.30amish), then they will faintly linger until around lunch time, maybe a little beyond that. By dinner time, they are no longer noticeable. The exception to this is if I go climbing in the evening and start sweating, then I"ll start to get some traces of the aftershave coming back. Thus, I'd say the staying power is pretty good, especially as these are only aftershaves.

I simply don't care about the scent of an aftershave (as long as its not unpleasant). For me, all I care about is how it affects my skin.

TOBS always treated me well, but it's pretty much purely alcohol-based. There are some other things in there, but not nearly as much healing goodies as, say, Speick. I find the alcohol splashes do me well, but if there were a particularly harsh shave, I might reach for something else.

I rarely wear cologne so I like an aftershave that can do double duty as for finishing up a shave and providing a fragrance.

I am wearing Grafton cologne at the moment. I can confirm that it lasts at least 12hrs, and lingers for up 48. The same is true for Truefitt 1805. Can't comment on the AS.

It might be worth getting the cologne then......

If you're planning to invest, may I suggest this Ebay vendor (all items listed are BIN). Shown here is the Limes, but I personally bought Grafton and 1805 last week, and I know he does stock them. Also stocks a range of other stuff. It's a UK vendor, but at these kind of prices, even with p&p, I think they're a bargain. In fact, an Australian member here has bought!

Anyway, Good Luck, and Enjoy!
