Super Speed Rattle?

Have a bad case of RAD and have purchased a few SuperSpeed razors. On a few of them, the ones that have the smaller band above the flair tip which appear to be lates 50's+, I hear a slight rattle if the razor is shaken. They are all mechanically fine, open and close perfectly, lock tight, etc. Is this rattle a normal thing on the newer SuperSpeeds?

nope shouldn't rattle.
I had a lady gillette that did the same thing. I think it was the silo doors making the noice where they meet the head.
Other than the noise there was nothing wrong with the razor, cosmetically or mechanically.

I would agree with Adam... If it works fine than it's all right but I would keep an eye on it.

Superspeed are great little razors... I think I should get one for my travel kit...

I am pretty sure there is a bar that runs up the post that can have some give that may produce a rattle but not affect the mechanics of the razor.

Do they rattle with a blade installed?

I would think that the preload of bending the blade into place might take up any free play in the mechanism.
